CheapMilk.com lets local people and businesses sponsor part of the price of milk at independent grocery stores. Shoppers pay less at the register. The store still receives its full shelf price.
Example transaction. Actual prices are set by each store; sponsor amounts vary by program.
No one is asked to donate milk or cut prices. Sponsors fund the discount, shoppers save, and the store makes a normal sale.
The CheapMilk Merchant Portal handles the sponsored part of the sale. Cashiers follow one short procedure, and every gallon is recorded once.
Each code works once. Duplicate redemptions and unusual quantities are flagged automatically, so a store is never paid twice for the same gallon and a sponsor never pays for milk that wasn't sold.
In the pilot, sponsors cover $2.00 of each gallon. A typical household allowance is 4 gallons a month.
Business sponsors can fund a single store, a week, or the whole 30-day pilot.
We are proving the model in a single independent grocery store before growing. Here is the proposed pilot.

What we will report after the pilot: gallons redeemed, new versus existing customers, store satisfaction, sponsor renewal, and our administrative cost per transaction.
CheapMilk is built by a cloud security practitioner. The merchant portal is a multi-tenant system designed so no store can ever see another store's data.
No. You keep your normal shelf price. The shopper pays part, CheapMilk reimburses the sponsored part, and the store receives the full agreed price.
No. Early stores use the CheapMilk Merchant Portal on a phone, tablet or existing computer, with a short milk-only checkout procedure that records the discount and matches receipts for reimbursement.
Nothing during the pilot. Later, stores may choose an optional low-cost monthly subscription for the portal, redemption reports and fraud monitoring. Early partners get a free trial.
Sponsors see a clearly disclosed technology fee before they pay. It covers operations, security and staff, and it is kept separate from the money that pays for milk.
Often, yes, but your operator agreement may require head-office approval for promotions or payment changes. We'll help you check before anything starts.
That is what the pilot measures. Sponsored milk can bring repeat visits, but we won't promise extra grocery sales until we have the data to show it.
